OUR TRIP TO SOUTH AFRICA
Day 8, Exploring Namaqualand

What a fantastic find. We were traveling along the highway towards Namibia and noticed a small tour bus parked a ways off of the road. We went there to look and found an amazing place. Huge granite slabs of rock with cracks and holes in which all kinds of succulents, bulbs and wildflowers were growing. We took almost 150 pictures of these plants, some of which would win trophies in the C&SS shows. Amazing, you couldn't get such an assortment if you started your own botanic garden.

Two more days in this plant wonderland. We can't wait for tomorrow.
